Implementing a grading system in Skustack allows you to effectively organize your inventory by item state. You can establish a categorization framework for your products according to their condition and use Work Orders of type Grading to sort them. You can create Grading Work Orders in the Skustack Admin portal, while the Mobile app allows you to utilize existing work orders to pick, grade, and update each unit and then sort it based on the determined condition.
Receive to Light
The Skublox Integration with Skustack gives you the ability to organize your warehouse processes with a variety of sorting methods, such as the new Receive To Light method. It combines the Cross-Dock and Pick-To-Light workflows allowing you to receive items from a vendor and immediately sort them on a Skublox lightwall for pending order shipping. This process aims to reduce the time and expenses linked with storage while optimizing the product sorting processes.
Picklists Tab Improvements
We have made some modifications to the Picklist tab of Skustack Lens:
Warehouse Region Filter for Putaway
We have added a Warehouse Region filter to the Putaway List module in the Skustack App. This can be especially useful for employees putting away stock because they can get assigned to a specific area of the warehouse and have a quick way of finding which lists are specifically in their region.
Print UPC Instead of SKU
We have added a new device setting to the Skustack Application: Print UPC on PickList Product Order Confirmation Label. You can find it in the Warehouse Management section of your device settings under Picklists. When enabled, all picklist product order confirmation labels will be printed with the product UPC instead of the Product ID (SKU).
Transfer Kit Products
By default, SKU to SKU Transfers do not allow moving Kit Products. Instead, you have to transfer the components, which includes disassembly in the case of Independent Kits. We have added the Allow SKU Transfer For Kits Client Setting to the Skustack Admin Portal. When enabled, you will be able to include Kit Products (parents) to SKU to SKU Transfers, both in the App and the Admin Portal.
Connect WiFi Printer
The Skustack mobile app now supports connecting to a Zebra label printer via WiFi. To establish the connection, make sure your Skustack device has the WiFi enabled and that the printer is switched on. Then, choose the Wi-Fi connection type in Settings > Printer and fill in the printer’s IP address and port.
Warehouse Transfer Notes and Search
The latest Skustack App version now supports adding custom notes in Warehouse to Warehouse transfers. Any notes added in the App will also be displayed in the Skustack Admin Portal and in Sellercloud. Additionally, when searching in the Warehouse Transfer module, you now have the option to Exclude fully received transfers by checking the box. This way, the results will only contain transfers that are still in progress.
Manage Pallets in Skustack
We have added a new functionality to Skustack: Manage Pallets. Pallets are typically used as a base for assembling, storing, and transporting goods within a warehouse or during shipment, allowing you to stack and handle goods as a single unit load and eliminating the need for individual unit processing. Within the Skustack system, pallets are treated as distinct groups of units that are not associated with specific Bins upon creation.
You can create individual pallets in the Skustack App or import them in bulk within the Admin Portal.
Skustack Admin Login Restrictions
We have added a new security measure regarding which users have access to the Skustack Admin Portal. Going forward, only client Admins will automatically have the ability to log in. All users marked as Employees will need to be invited by a Client Admin. This can be done in two ways within the Admin Portal:
