Maria Martin: My name is Maria Martin, I am the COO of the company. I’m in charge of the operations and systems. This is a family business. We started very small in our house, we are immigrants from Venezuela, and we were looking for an idea to help us grow and get established here in this country.
Maria Martin: Before Sellercloud, we were using a system that didn’t give us all the features or the tools we needed. We were doing a lot of things for our company outside of our main system. We were using our old system for inventory and synchronizing the inventory in the marketplaces and the prices. For example, we were doing the purchasing part outside. That was an important reason for us to change.
Maria Martin: For us, it is very important to have everything centralized in one platform, to have more control of the processes that we do, and to have better reports and results, be more effective, and be more optimized.
Maria Martin: We have seen benefits regarding the labor span because we have minimized it, having my people doing less work and doing their tasks more efficiently. Just including the purchasing team in the system is worth it for us because we minimize a lot of tasks that we were doing outside, and we have the visibility of the products that are coming and the orders that we have pending. We can plan our warehouse schedule, the people that we need, the hours that we need to work, and the pieces that we need to process. That’s been amazing! And being able to have different warehouses and move inventory from different warehouses depending on their status or their physical location.
Maria Martin: We are able to do the Walmart WFS and Amazon FBA shipments from Sellercloud. It is a benefit for us not to have to go to another platform for the shipments. With everything centralized in Sellercloud, we can create the POs there and send those POs to the manufacturers. And then it’s easier for us to have all the information inside in one place, so our warehouse has visibility of what is coming at the right time. There is no need for communication between the teams. It’s just looking in Sellercloud.
Maria Martin: With the open APIs, we can integrate another system to work better. It has been very good for us. We are very comfortable with the system, and we want to optimize as much as we can. There are a lot of capabilities and features that have helped us to run our operations more efficiently and cost-effectively.
Maria Martin: One of the things that made us move to Sellercloud was the flexibility and adaptability to meet any of our needs. Any business has different needs, and every step of the business needs different things. With Sellercloud, we are confident that we have that ability.
