David Rajewski: Knowing what not to sell is often just as important as knowing what to sell. Because we’re wasting money over here. And with Sellercloud, we were able to find that out right away.
David Rajewski: The reason we picked Sellercloud is because of the good bundling, very robust bundling, and purchasing. We really wanted to track all the costs associated with the products that we’re buying. It’s extremely important that we know the margin of each and every product, because a lot of our product margins are very slim.
David Rajewski: The challenge for our business is tracking those costs. It was really important that each and every part is accurately costed because we have different kits and different margins across Amazon, and eBay and all these channels.
David Rajewski: Stoked Ride Shop specializes in action sports products, primarily skateboards. But we also sell some products for surfing, snowboards. Sellercloud is a great option for someone who’s just getting started getting their business off the ground to someone who’s running an established business.
David Rajewski: We’ve been using Sellercloud for three years. For a very long time we didn’t have that. And we used another software, but it just started not getting updated very often, got a little stale. And so that’s when I started looking for another one and ultimately chose Sellercloud.
David Rajewski: When we started using Sellercloud, the biggest change that we noticed right away was the reporting. You could really see every single SKU, the margins on all of them and see which products were profitable and which products weren’t. And that allowed us to immediately decide, okay, we can cut this, we don’t need to sell this anymore.
David Rajewski: Being able to track the profits is really important. I’ll give you an example, this last month, one of the guys who works here is commission-based. And so, we looked at the numbers, and the profit was down a little bit.
David Rajewski: And when the profit was down, he didn’t make as much money. So, he refocused his efforts. And this last month the profit went up a little. And we were able to just do that right in Sellercloud, because we identified the core group of products that were causing that issue, and eliminated them and focused on the products that was more profitable.
David Rajewski: Connecting the listings is something that was very helpful. So if we have a product that we’re trying to add to Amazon, we just put in the ASIN, it downloads the data, and then we’re able to use that data to post on all these other channels like eBay and our website. That has sped up our operations.
David Rajewski: We’ve seen growth in revenue and in profits. We’ve been doing 10 to 15% year over year since starting to use Sellercloud. Sellercloud has helped us a lot throughout the entire process.
David Rajewski: Sellercloud had a very robust implementation phase that helped us get going. Throughout the first year, we had a lot of questions, but they were always there to help us figure those out. And then throughout the time, as we’ve grown and had new problems, we’ve had a dedicated rep that’s been very helpful for us.
David Rajewski: Sellercloud is a great partner that would help us grow into new revenue streams and new avenues. If you have a business that has inventory and you have to cost that inventory and watch all those numbers and watch how much inventory you have, how fast it’s moving, software is a necessity. You wouldn’t be able to compete without it.
