Moses Chemtob: Since [Descartes] Sellercloud, our business really increased 4 or 5x every year. Sellercloud definitely could expand your sales and help you grow dramatically.
Albert Alboucai: I started with this company 12 years ago. It was like a 20 people company. I manage the growth and organize it and expand the company to what we are today, over 130 employees globally. Prior to Sellercloud, we had a very good ERP system. When we started with Sage about nine years ago, we were not so strong online.
Moses Chemtob: We have a vast number of reserves, over 302,000 SKUs.
Miguel Tome: The products are all consumer electronics based, everything from an LED light strip to a car jump starter. We have multiple brands here. Prior to Sellercloud, it was draining. It was very manual, and it was very demeaning because I wasn’t able to do as much as I wanted to.
Moses Chemtob: About four years ago, we started selling to the consumers, and we needed a better operation. Our current system wasn’t really working, and we were constantly having issues with inventory. So, we needed to find a solution.
Albert Alboucai: Once you are covering a lot of different platforms, like we do over 35 platforms, it’s not easy for humans to work and handle inventory across these kinds of platforms and fulfill and not have issues.
Albert Alboucai: We did our homework; we shopped around. We had a lot of good references that Sellercloud is the best software to manage that. So, we tried it and Sellercloud was really good. The implementation process was good. It is very strong as far as managing the inventory piece.
Miguel Tome: Now with Sellercloud, everything is automated. This has saved us over four hours a day in just processing and getting our stuff up and running. The company started to really dive into ecommerce. It just keeps growing.
Albert Alboucai: The WMS, different platforms, being able to ship and manage the pricing, manage the inventory across all 35 different platforms. That wasn’t so easy before; it became a lot easier with Sellercloud. We need less employees to manage the same thing we were doing for bigger business, because of the automation and the scanning and the accuracy, it got a lot better using Sellercloud versus using our old ERP system.
Moses Chemtob: With Descartes Sellercloud, we could definitely scale it. Shipments have gone dramatically quicker. We were able to process a thousand orders with no issues. We had a big event with QVC. We had to ship out 50,000 orders in a matter of 24 hours, without a hitch. The process became seamless. Orders were divided by SKUs, colors, and how many items were in it. It was really organized by pick lists. Every workstation was working on a different pick list, very seamless.
Miguel Tome: Prior to Sellercloud, we were growing at a steady pace, but we really did hit the ceiling. We didn’t have much more room to grow. Now that we’re on Sellercloud, the skies are limitless. I foresee us multiplying in size really quick. We’re adding accounts left, right, and center. We have no issues or any sort of concerns about managing all these accounts now that we’re teamed up with Sellercloud.
Albert Alboucai : Our sales are growing month over month. We are expanding to more platforms, and our sales are growing within the platform because we’re going from a lot of manual work to automation оn the logistics. We’re going to continue to automate, automate, automate. So the skills that we have and all the talents that we have in the building are not focused on doing redundant and manual work, but on doing the brain work to market and work on our position in the market to get the biggest score rating and win the Buy Box on Amazon.
Miguel Tome: I can’t say anything less about the automated tasks, how everything is set, everything is easily shown on screen. What was first, what was second, what was third. Did it succeed, did it fail, why did it fail, here are the reasons why it failed. It’s a set it and forget it. I know it’s a little cliche that people say on TV, but it really is a lifesaver.
Miguel Tome: Honestly, this is what you want. Basically, have a system run on its own, and you just deal with everything outside the system. Now with Sellercloud, we can focus on growing the business, focus on what comes next, and on multiplying in size.
Albert Alboucai: If you are a business that is online focused and you do a lot of ecommerce transactions and you handle more than 4 or 5 platforms, you need Sellercloud or software like Sellercloud.
Miguel Tome: Yes, there is always a cheaper route. You can go and do everything manually. But I will tell you, you’re losing a lot of hours. You’re not growing your business and on top of that, it’s leading to a lot of gray zones where you’re getting a lot of defaulted inventory, a lot of chargebacks. Sellercloud is a great partner because it deals with all the nonsense in the middle and allows you to really get a clean, updated inventory. And again, your inventory is going to multiply overnight.
