Don Grier: Before Sellercloud, we had to manage each one of these accounts – the Amazon Seller Central, the Walmart dropship, and all the other ones individually, and we almost had to hire one person per account because there’s just so much to it. Sellercloud has completely streamlined how we do things, from how inventory flows up to all these different channels to how orders flow down and go straight into our ERP system. My name is Don Greer. I’m the Director of IT here at Farwest Sports.
Kent Mesford: My name is Kent Mesford. The biggest thing I do in this department is coordinate inventory, which goes up between the different channels.
Don Grier: We’re on Amazon Seller Central and on Walmart dropship. We’re also on Walmart Marketplace. We do Amazon dropship, we sell on Google. We sell through Home Depot. We sell with Costco, Tractor Supply, Rakuten. We sell with hundreds, if not thousands of independents also. Currently, we have about 60,000 SKUs, and we do hunting, camping, fishing, firearms, and ammunition. And it’s grown into a multi-million dollar business.
Kent Mesford: The biggest reason we got Sellercloud was to be able to have a single place where we could send our inventory feed and have it take care of that, not to have to constantly be fighting – how many do I have on this channel, how many do I have on that channel? And that’s worked out really, really well. Sellercloud controls all of that.
Kim Graves: Previous Sellercloud we were in a world of hurt. Things were done manually, painstakingly. My name is Kim Graves. I’m the Account Manager for our online division.
Together, we have about 200 employees, and the ones that use Sellercloud love it. We’ve tried other platforms out there in the past, and we’ll never go back.
Don Grier: Sellercloud gives you one place to go. You can take care of everything as far as tracking orders, inventory, and customer service; everything that you need to do can be done in Sellercloud, and it takes care of all your channels in one place instead of having to go out to each channel and deal with it, there.
Don Grier: Sellercloud allows us to come in and sort the pick list. And then from there, you know, our pickers get out there. They pull all the orders. They bring them back into shipping. It gets shipped out. Once it’s shipped, tracking goes automatically back to the channel from which the order originated. And we invoice all the orders later in the day in our normal ERP system. And Sellercloud just streamlined the whole process. Where we used to enter tracking info hand by hand, Sellercloud has completely automated so many different things. It’s crazy.
Kent Mesford: With Sellercloud, we don’t have the problem we used to have with overselling. The inventory is constantly updating through Sellercloud. I used to have to split the inventory and say, okay, send so many of these to Walmart and so many to Amazon. Because it’s all centralized now with Sellercloud, I don’t have to worry about that. We just upload the inventory. They take care of it.
Kim Graves: We don’t have to worry about making sure our systems are updated or anything like that. Or, you know, keeping up with the latest and greatest. Sellercloud just helps us with all of that. It’s been a lifesaver, actually. It has streamlined that process so easy. Before, we would struggle until 5-6 at night, working extra hours; now we’re allotting around like, hey, what do we do all day?
Don Grier: Amazon is constantly trying new things out, and as part of partnering up with Sellercloud, we’re finding that Amazon recognizes Sellercloud customers as good customers. Amazon calls us saying – we see that you’re using Sellercloud. Would you please try this new feature that we want to do?
Don Grier: Sellercloud had developed it for Amazon. Amazon came to us and said – we see that you’re using this, can we try that? Would you guys be interested in trying this feature? We try it, we like it. Now, we do in-store pickups for Amazon, which is something that we wouldn’t have done otherwise.
Don Grier: Being a Sellercloud customer, we definitely see that there is an advantage, being on Walmart and being on Amazon, as both of them recognized Sellercloud as being a really big player.
Kent Mesford: We’ve found the company really great to work with. Things get done there, and everybody’s been very personable to deal with. It’s just been a really, really good company. If I had any kind of criticism of it is the fact that Sellercloud does so much stuff it’s hard to figure out exactly what all it can do.
Kim Graves: I would 100% recommend Sellercloud for the ease, the convenience, and the connections. And I’m not tech savvy, but Sellercloud is. They’re going to get you connected in ways you didn’t think possible – API connections, EDI, different companies, and different settings that you could control within their functions and features.
Kim Graves: Sellercloud has grown leaps and bounds since we onboarded with them in 2019, and more and more features are becoming readily available that fit our needs and above and beyond our needs. They’re the ones that even meet and greet with them, and they can show you what they can do for you. It’s not a one-size-fits-all; it’s what we can do to help you kind of thing.
Kent Mesford: The advantage of having Sellercloud is that it enables you to spend your time doing the marketing, those sorts of things. The idea that you would have a website and have to do everything manually now is just insane.
