Jonathan Stewart: E-commerce changes a lot. The landscape is constantly changing and you have to be competitive to be successful, and so seeing Sellercloud constantly evolve has really given us the confidence and reassurance that, you know, Sellercloud is the way to go.
Jonathan Stewart: My name is Jonathan Stewart. I am one of the owners at Palletize. Palletize is a family-owned business. We sell about 80% grocery products and also household items and home and kitchen. As we grew as a FBA business, we were utilizing another software that was more of a restocking software versus a all-in-one solution. We found that it had lots of limitations, it was not very customizable. It was not capable of really expanding our business beyond FBA. So what we saw was that Sellercloud was a company that evolved their software more so than other options that we saw.
Jonathan Stewart: So we’ve been with our cloud for a year now, and we’ve really seen the ability to adapt the system with our needs. With Sellercloud we’ve really seen a lot of growth in terms of merchant fulfilled products. The software is really, really good at being able to say, okay, you have this quantity of two packs, this quantity of three packs, this quantity of singles, and making all of that inventory available across multiple ASINs on Amazon.
Jonathan Stewart: The onboarding process with Sellercloud and the premium support was really very useful. When I asked, hey, is there a way that we could efficiently receive a bunch of different POs at one time? In our previous software, we literally went line by line SKU by SKU to receive it. The support that we received really helped to say, okay, well, not only can you do that, but it can be done through a plugin that we can customize for you to make something work the way you want it to work.
Jonathan Stewart: With Sellercloud and this plugin, I was able to generate an Excel file and we would receive, you know, 300 SKUs at one time, and beyond that, we’d be able to assemble a whole bunch of kits at one time as well. So there was no extra work on our part once that was fully set up.
Jonathan Stewart: The part of Sellercloud that has really helped us grow the most, I would say, is really the cataloging system being able to clone items, shadow items, and take advantage of that inventory. Adding new products is easy. We’ll do a batch file, maybe import a thousand items at one time even. We are able to import, let’s say, 20 plus columns worth of data that is very, very easy to do with Sellercloud. We were not able to do that with other software really at all.
Jonathan Stewart: Sellercloud is able to create new ASINs on Amazon just straight through the software. We utilize predictive purchasing. With Sellercloud, we actually utilize custom columns that allow us to see, for instance, the prep guide for Fulfillment by Amazon. With that prep guide, we’re able to say, okay, this item needs to be poly bagged, or this item needs to be shrink wrapped, or this item maybe needs to be bubble wrapped. That’s all available and visible to our employees in the warehouse where they can say, okay, well, I have this item and this is how it needs to be prepared.
Jonathan Stewart: With Shipbridge and the picklist, we’re able to say, okay, well, we need to pick 20 of these items for these orders and then just be able to easily say, okay, well, I have everything for this group of orders and we can pack it and ship it pretty efficiently.
Jonathan Stewart: We’re in the process of moving to a new warehouse. The warehouse will be 25,000 square foot on the ground and we’re moving out of 6,000 square foot right now. So we are happy to know that we could utilize a software such as Skustack then to manage bins, expiration dates and other information to generate picklists and really operate as a warehouse. With that, we really should be able to scale the business quite a bit.
Jonathan Stewart: I am confident that Sellercloud would be able to help us achieve that goal. So we’re really looking forward to what the future has to hold.
