TopHatter Listings Management


Our Tophatter Account Integration allows you to easily upload your product inventory and create new listings on your Tophatter store directly from your Sellercloud account. Product changes can be pushed either manually or automatically. Prior to updating a product on Tophatter, it must be enabled for that channel on the Product Properties Page.

Prepare a Product for Tophatter

Before you can start updating your Tophatter listings through Sellercloud, you need to make sure that they are Tophatter enabled. You can do that either individually or in bulk.


  1. Go to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Open a product.
  2. Toolbox > Tophatter Properties.
  3. Click Edit and select the Enabled checkbox.

In Bulk

To enable products for Tophatter in bulk, you can use the Bulk Update Products tool:

  1. Navigate to Catalog > Tools > Import Product Info.
  2. Choose Bulk Product Update.
  3. Generate a template with the desired product fields in either TAB Delimited/CSV/Excel.
    1. Add the column TophatterEnabled
    2. (Optional) Add any additional fields you wish to update
  4. Populate the information, then go back to Sellercloud.
  5. Choose the file > Click Upload.

Alternatively, you can enable or disable products for Tophatter directly from the Manage Catalog page. To do that:

  1. Navigate to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Choose your Products.
  2. Select Action Menu > Enable/Disable for channel.
  3. Choose Tophatter > Update.

Post a Product on Tophatter

The minimum requirements to post your products on Tophatter are:

  • Tophatter Enabled
  • Cost Basis (Target Price)
  • Item Category
  • Tophatter Description
  • Product Secondary Image

You can post your products to Tophatter individually or in bulk.


To post products individually:

  1. Navigate to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Find your product.
  2. Toolbox > Tophatter Properties.
  3. Action Menu > Post or Update Product.
If your product is already listed on Tophatter, this action will override the existing information in the product fields with the updated details.

In Bulk

To post products in bulk:

  1. Navigate to Catalog > Manage Catalog > Select your products.
  2. Open the Actions Menu > Launch on Channel.
  3. A pop-up window will appear.
  4. Select Tophatter from the dropdown menu.

Update Tophatter Listings

You can update inventory information automatically or manually.


To update products automatically:

  1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select the Company.
  2. Toolbox > Tophatter > General > Edit.
  3. In the General Settings panel, check Enable Inventory Upload.


You can manually update the inventory quantities on TopHatter either individually or in bulk.

To update an individual SKU, open the Product > Toolbox > TopHapper Properties > Actions > Export Inventory.

To update multiple products on Tophatter, navigate to:

  1. Catalog > Choose your Products > Action Menu > Update Inventory on Channel.
  2. Choose Tophatter from the dropdown menu and click Update.

Tophatter Documents

You can access all Tophatter-related documents, sorted by type of document and saved date. This feature allows you to quickly find and review specific information related to your Tophatter Listings and Orders.

  1. Go to Settings > Companies > Manage Companies > Select the Company.
  2. Toolbox > Tophatter > Documents.
  3. Choose a Document Type from the dropdown and a Saved Date.
  4. Click Search.
