Newegg Business Account Integration


Overview

In this article, you will learn how to link your Newegg Business  and Sellercloud accounts in order to post products, manage listings, and enable automatic updates.


Integrate with Newegg Business

NeweggBusiness integrates via API or FTP in a nearly identical process as is done with Newegg Marketplace. After applying to become a seller at http://www.neweggbusiness.com/sellers.

API integration

Contact Sellercloud Support to make sure that the required Newegg API backend settings are enabled for your account. Once this is done, to configure the connection in Sellercloud you will need to obtain an API Secret Key.
  1. Log in to your Newegg Business Seller Portal and go to Account > Data Feed Settings > API Settings > Auth a Developer.
  2. In the Authorize A Service Provider popup, select Sellercloud from the dropdown > Authorize.
  3. Click the REFRESH LIST button to update your current list and verify that Sellercloud was successfully added. You should see the Secret Key populate on that same page.
  4. Copy the Secret Key.
  5. In Sellercloud, enter the secret key into the API Secret Key field and enter your NewEgg Merchant ID (provided by NewEgg).NewEggEnableAPi
  6. Go to Actions > Test API Credentials.
  7. To start listing products, check Enable Inventory Upload, Enable Order Download and Enable Fullfillment UploadSave.

Newegg Business Settings Explained

You can configure the following settings on the Newegg Business General Settings page:

New Egg Settings

SETTING DESCRIPTION
CREDENTIALS
New Egg Enabled Makes products available for NewEgg Business listing.
Enable API Enables configuring of API settings.
NewEgg Merchant ID Enter the merchant ID from your NewEgg Business account.
API Secret Key  Enter the secret key password.
NewEgg FTP Server Enter the server path.
NewEgg FTP User Name Enter username credentials.
NewEgg FTP Password Enter password credentials.
Confirm Password Re-enter password.
OPTIONS
Safety Qty The number of items that will not be set to the channel in order to prevent overselling.
Default Qty Use this option for replenishable products to set a default number of items that will always be available on the channel.
Files Format Select the file format – CSV or Excel from the dropdown menu.
CONTROLS
Enable Inventory Upload Enable this setting to let NewEgg Business upload inventory information from Sellercloud.
Enable Order Download Enable this setting to let NewEgg Business orders be downloaded to Sellercloud.
Enable Order Fullfillment Upload Enable this setting to let NewEgg Business upload tracking and shipping date from Sellercloud.
Delete FTP Files After Processing (Test Mode) Enable this to delete FTP files after processing.
Enable Order Download Limit Date Check this to show the limit date for order download.
Order Limit Date Shows the limit date for order download.

Selling on NeweggBusiness

NeweggBusiness is a marketplace dedicated to the US business buyer and focused on small to large businesses, education, and government. It is separate from the regular consumer Newegg marketplace.Here are some differences related to buying on NeweggBusiness.

  1. Companies are eligible for volume discounts, which are not offered on the consumer website.
  2. Companies have access to a dedicated Account Manager to answer your questions directly, search for items, ensure availability of items, exceed quantity limitations, etc.
  3. NeweggBusiness also offers multiple payment options including wire transfer, prepaid check, and Net 30 Terms, which allows customers to defer payment up to 30 days.
  4. NeweggBusiness can ship with LTL trucking as well to help customers save money on shipping large orders.

These advantages make NeweggBusiness an attractive market for businesses, and in turn a great opportunity for merchants to market to large-purchase customers.

API Integration

  5. In Sellercloud, navigate to Settings > Company Settings >Toolbox > NewEgg Biz > General Settings.
  6. Check Enable API.
  7. Place the secret key into the API Secret Key field. Enter your NewEgg Merchant ID (provided by NewEgg).
  8. Test credentials from Action Menu.
  9. Complete default settings as desired and enable NewEgg. Save Settings.
  10. Enable download and upload options when you are certain your inventory is prepared for listing.
